The Band - A Taste Of New Orleans

A band calling itself “A Taste of New Orleans” had better be good! David Lastie and his musical family played around town in the late 70s. David Lastie(pictured here) played saxophone, brother Walter played drums, and his sister Betty Ann (Miss B) sang.

Wanda became the lead singer of “A Taste of New Orleans in 1987 when David Lastie died unexpectedly in his prime. The Lastie family passed the band and the name onto Wanda who continues it to this day.
Wanda’s first CD is dedicated to the memory of David Lastie. David plays on three of the tracks.
